I liked being prepared. But the signatures I made were too big, so I cut them down (it's hard to sew through 3 pieces of watercolor paper, but near impossible to sew through 5 pieces). And I felt like the book was getting to be too thick, so I halved the amount of pages, and I'll make two books. One in the workshop, and one out of school.
I get mixed responses from teachers- I should be totally prepared and working on my own stuff, or I should ask permission before starting. I'm not used to asking for permission, but I didn't think I needed it, anyway.
I'm making a page for the blog with the steps for bookmaking.
