a rototiller is the child of a plow and a gas lawnmower. it's terrible to use, eats up the ground, and makes a lot more noise than an ox amd plow. but my little plot in the backyard really needed it.
SATs stole my brain.

you haven't lived until you've cleaned an art studio's sink with bleach-AJAX and large yellow gloves.

pics. selsun blue is smelly in my hair.

some of these are old designs for projects.
caricatures:
tommy (profile).
argon. (Argon, the nonreactive gas in light bulbs that makes sure they burn. 'light
bulb' representing ideas.) sort of in his own style, too.
watercolors:
Oberon the fairy king (emotionally hurt but won't show it) and Evil Robot Marie from Metropolis.
this will be followed by a lot of arts, since i've started cleaning out papers from various cubby-holes in the art room and my locker.
my books came in! pocket references: "Painting waterscapes" and "Painting landscapes". this is a june project, after the squares and before FIT classes start. I love Amazon: i got these for about 2.50 each, and shipping wasn't that much. I may have not reached $10. That's great for any book. i think the books were originally 9 each? and they don't look secondhand. I wouldn't mind.
STACnite- June 11th. That's when the PANdemic mural is due. I should design the title. I want something to do with PAN the lower deity, and mazes. Perhaps the middle of the A will be a maze. That's going to be great to design, cut out, and stencil onto paper.

One more time!

listening to Daft Punk and watching season1 of Clone High (*love*).
the Black and White mural looks like it's going to get done. i'd rather have a smaller group of people working on the color mural than the whole class, because I seriously can't keep track of everyone.
the FIT class in lifedrawing is working out. 3 hours, 4 days a week, 3 weeks. I'll get lunch from a pretzel vendor and go uptown to central park to draw at the zoo until 5pm, then meet my dad at penn station and we'll go home. busy busy but im glad i get to go to a zoo. i should really draw my dog more.
now for Stress Management term paper. i don't mind writing papers anymore. I just mind when teachers are so stiff about it.

the piebald crow.

listening to: Talking Heads and then Daft Punk.
A good cutout, a failed cutout. also, drawing for some sort of Hansel und Gretel (must be 'und').
the good. eyes are either closed or open. they were meant open, but work closed.
the failed. her mouth got lost. this was unplanned, and only about 1 1/4 inch.
and Hansel und Gretel. In the original story (i must read it again), hansel and gretel's mother tells the father to abandon them in the woods because the family is doing terrible financially. and they keep finding their way back, until they dont. arm isnt good, but they look desperate. it's in pen, so i couldn't erase when the arm was too low, so it looks like her pecs are huge. but they aren't. pointy head <3.
basically:
Gretel: Hansel... it's a house.. made of candy!
Hansel: OMNOMNOMNOM

rapunzel. i guess this is #100 of the published ones.

now, rapunzel. these are meant for cutouts someday in the next 2 weeks.
and its thumbnail:
And the coloring thumbnail:
Yet more. These are some designs for the princes that will be killlllled. stupid asymmetrical, drawn at an assembly
about the dangers of drunk and reckless driving. HAIRY is from a Boy's Life magazine illustration. theres even a little tower.

design

some arts. I redesigned the deer-princess person, who needs a name. now her eyes are square. there are notes on the design at the bottom of the page. It's still incomplete, but its better than before.
a profile, with a very different expression.
