I wanna be the gramma in Pippin

Listening to Pippin because i just found the soundtrack.
Art in school. I like having school around because if I'm surrounded by not-art stuff, I'm more likely to do art stuff. "If I'm never tied to anything, I'll never be free" is the quote from Pippin.
I'm attempting a pointalism piece for AP and for my portfolio. I've been looking up a lot of paintings and the ideas behind them and a lot of it has gone over my head. My concentration is 'fairytales', so I'm going to have a beautiful view of Rapunzel's tower. I'll be working in crayon, and below is what I have so far of the practice one. Red, orange, yellow, green-yellow, green, blue, and violet. I need to figure out what size the piece is gonna be.
Red sticks out more than i thought it does. oops.
There is also a life-drawing from an airplane. Sleeping people are great.

listening to Cocoon, Decemberists. School is tiring.

perhaps a different, less depressing song. Rockin' the Paradise, Styx. Yaknow what's not fun? finding out the YMCA you have is a cover.
The count is official, and [A1 bqx], besides serving the purpose of a digital portfolio of ideas, will serve its original purpose as well. Some school projects, commissioned by Luke the teacher of STAC, the integrated arts program, will be here too.
If you are a staccie and looking at these, please comment. And I've been writing here since last February, so get lost in some archives.
The first day of STAC we took a lot of photos of each other. Two chairs were set up in the middle, one staccie had the camera and asked questions to the other staccie, who tried not to look stupid. At about 10 photos per person, every person had at least on photo that just captured them entirely. Some of them also have parts of the art room in the back. I spend 3-4 hours in there everyday.
This is everyone's bestest:
Leah: oh my, this is you. it really is a nice pic, and i sorta wish i remembered what was said.
Kalliopea? Calliope is the Muse-name. Learned that one from comic books. so there. Beautiful pic.
Nikki: never be self-conscious of a camera! This is a great smile that's a little off to the side.
Is your name Ashley? A lot of these pics were nice.
Becky! This pic just shouted out 'dancers have to move all the time'. Got questions?
Bari? That's the name, I think. This is the nicest smile of those pictures: nice improv btw. try breathing for those ^_^.
'Tis I! 'Tis I! Lizy! I don't think the glasses will ever be straight. But the icon isn't that far off. It's a bit of an arrogant picture, but the smiley ones remind me of child-pictures.
Leah II carefully weighs her options. SMILE!
Cassie sees a new horizon. And the mac'n'cheese trying to hide behind it. A bit excited, but it's a nice 3/4 shot. I miss those.
Alex, the scarecrow and undertaker. Lets have everyone smile for this one. He doesn't surf.
Doug asks you to consider your options: look on and be amazed, or glance away, content. You look so different in a picture... there is a bit of a smile there. Or the other pictures affect perception.
Whoa its Cassie but a boy. Little brother Matt is thinking about smiling. Perhaps. If he has to.
This is really one of the best pictures of Jack ever. Looking happy- even without a guitar in his hands.
whoa purple whoa hat Jesse the underclassman guitarist! In too many other pictures. "It was this big."
Meghan this reminded me so much of the natural male enhancement guy on tv. Not a bad thing, really.
Maraid, I am sooo spelling your name wrong. Oopsie. IrishIrishIrish this is just a nice smile.
Juliana smiles for reals!
Bobby was thinking something very profound here.
Jess: Great photo that wasn't mid-word. 'Got Questions' was the freshman-focus slogan. And a rare smile behind you.
I think your name is Alyssa? and you don't look too panicky in this one. Don't be scared!
It's Nina's get-out-of-jail-free-card smile! Ya look lovely, dahling.
Zach! Zachkun, Beans, That Tall Kid. Ask him about Magic and Maplestory. Also looks a bit like the middle troll from 10th Kingdom. Everyone should have to sit through that 7-hour miniseries.
Nice pic Nick. Sorta miss the seduce-me-with-her-eyes-alone look. But even if it isn't serious, it's still a good'un. Love the jackolantern bass.
Keren: Smile more! Bold Optimism!
Hilary: not bad for a mid-word photo! Sorry if I keep poking at your bag. It has tassels.
Molly! Polly-Molly or Molly-wobbles. Owl neckless whoooo. A fellow comrade fighting the forces that want us to sit still!
Michelle: Holding your own through some tough questions of love and marriage. Or just love. And its byproducts. The cheshire-cat smile!
Ilana, not Ginny, the writer. Head-tilts are the cutest (it's an actual fact).
I think your name is Jillian but I'm not sure. Don't Panic! it's only a camera!
Dina knows everyone there is to know. Elegant picture, Deen. The earing is just dead on.
Interesting observation: how many of these had an eye on the center line?

listening to PleasePleaseMe.

I think I got ink for my printer but I'm not sure. Nothing new really, except school.
I want to work on the children's show- it's about a girl who's a were-pidgeon. At night she turns into a pidgeon? Something like that.
Looking for a book in my room- Imagineering your world. I know I put it somewhere to I could actually finish it, but i lost it.
I need to figure out a crayon project involving fairytales. I was thinking of doing a pointilism-like piece with the bottom half as Jack climbing the beanstalk and the upper half would be Rapunzel's castle, with their silloutettes. it's very nice in my head- i'm gonna start with preliminary tests tomorrow. I want it to be big, too, so that you'd have to see it from far away. I need to figure out the green to purple-gray transition.

Morel, coming to the rescue.

making my first D&D character. I eventually want to rise to the ranks of Dungeon Master, as in the guy who makes the rules and the story, but I'm okay with my Half-Elf Ranger. The version3.5 player's manual has really nice drawings in it.
Half-elf names are not fun. The best i can come up with is 'Morel'. The mushroom.
As school starts, I may be called on to keep the blog partially for academic reasons, which may include 'What I did today was' and 'This is a questionaire and an essay about what I think about it'. I'll also be making a website from scratch, I expect.

an attempt at embedding.

Been looking at some of the best Disney movies, and Robin Hood is up there. I think the first songs are just the best- The Opening, and then Ooh-De-Lally. The animation and the scene's layout of Ooh-De-Lally is just phenomenal.
and the Rooster's name is Alan-a-Dale.
Which leads to. . .
Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, Alan-a-Dale.

I went to the zoo and there were lotsa little kids there and there were animals too sorta

Sketches from the zoo, all of them. polar bears and a snow leopard behind and lotsa people. and some turtles.
new sketchbook. I rarely finish books, but I decide that they are done. time to use the one thats been sitting in the hallway all summer. thinner pages, but it takes marker smoothly. "Strathmore Sketch" 100 pages, a bit thin. im going for over 1 page a day. Maybe 4 or 5. doesn't matter what or who, but drawing needs to be done.
school starts wednesday. i dont want to make a list of things i want to happen this year, because i still dont have a boyfriend from last year's resolutions. Still reading lord of the rings. 1/4 through Drawn to Life, and im trying to re-learn drawing from it.

i think its great that our president is telling us to stay in school and work hard and be good people. I think it's a responsibility that all presidents should have.

put work up on animatedbuzz.
slowly falling down the path into magic the gathering and D&D. I love D&D too much. I want to make a character who is also the idea of a place.
Making an ancient history for my map. and a religion, since the area of The Bergan is based off the Holy Roman Empire. I'm totally basing it off catholictism, so that i don't piss off other types of christians. and because Christianity is based off Jewish and Pagan beliefs, i have to make those peoples too. Which got me into the whole ancient history mode.
One mountain is not colored in. FML.
school starts and im biding my time until then.
