My brother wants to make a music studio. i agreed to help him, if i'd get a bookcase in a corner. now im redesigning the interior of a room.

LIMITATIONS:

its about 8' x 16'.

The doors and windows can't be moved.

Needs a sofa-bed.

budget is at $250, but the couch and flooring is separate

Two walls are stone (and not flat). one has a window in it.

No TV.

PLANS:

I want a warm room. a jazz room with maroon and wood, with primary colors.

Storage. Book shelves from IKEA.

CD shelves, above eye level. There are so many of them, and we don't used them a lot. but we need to keep them.

Record player.

i want a clock with Metropolis-numbers (see below). maybe i'll make it myself. i've never made a clock before. hmm.
