Reading The Speed of Dark, by Elizabeth Moon (scifi alias?), which is about an autistic man around 2030, who narrates what he understands, doesn't understand, and if this new 'cure' for his autism works. It's interesting, and the style is extremely simple and straightforward.
I like things that are what they represent. Like, a Frankenstein teeshirt that is sewn together with scars, or a long speech about making long speeches. The courses of a meal representing how a soup is made. A painting about painting.
